In the War of 1812, Sir Isaac Brock and Shawnee leader Tecumseh formed an important alliance combining Canadian militia, British regulars, and Indigenous warriors to secure multiple victories against the American invaders. It is seen as a defining moment in Canada's development as a nation, symbolizing courage, sacrifice, and a growing sense of national identity.
